One of the blokes on here had major dramas with a sailfish his was a custom 8m job i think ,it would be worth your while to use the search tab and put in sailfish boats there is a heap of info there for you to digest good and bad ....matt

at the Melbourne boatshoe it would have been the only boat i would have considered for offshore work out of the whole show !, especially with the wheelhouse configuration with full glass etc, i have never driven or ridden in one though. have you considered Abcat/Bayshore or elite marine catamarans as they are WA based ?

Play hard,
I have a 5.5m model with twin 70 4 strokes on it. I have also been in a 6m with twin 90's on it. Both boats are awesome for offshore work. Very stable to fish from and safe. The only reason I would ever sell mine is to upgrade to a 6.5m or 7.0m version. Just keep an eye on fuel tank sizes. Mine has twin 100 litre tanks and running out 50+ km means I have to carry extra fuel which is a pain. You thinking of buying new or 2nd hand? PM me any other questions you have.
