I am just wondering if anybody has fishing this creek before? It is about 10 - 15km south of Bowen. I am currently driving between Townsville and Mackay most weekend and this creek looks pretty fishy. Have thought about pulling up and throwing a few soft plastics around, but too date have not.

Just chasing a heads up.

Thanks and happy fishing :)

Mate if you are driving up and down that road a bit have a look at this post.

It has a reference to the crrek you asked about and gives a few clues on others. Have a look at the rest of Jims posts as they are very good. Have wanted to try that creek myself on trips between mackay and townsville.
Cheers

Thanks Birko. I have read this post before and it really got me thinking about the fishability of creeks along that section of road. Driving back tonight, so I might just need to take a break ;)
