Hi guys,
We had a terrific thunderstorm here last night, not something we see all that often in Tas.
During it some friends of a friend of a friend were sitting in their car at the marina down the river and saw a yacht's mast get struck by lightning. Saw the bolt actually travel right down the mast.
"Oohh" they said,"bet that fried a few electronics!":o:o
15 minutes later, the boat sank. That much is fact. According to the story getting round, the lightning got into the through hull transducer cable and blew it out the bottom of the boat!!!
Mmmm
Yock
