I was looking at buying a diamond sharpener in bunnings the other day and held back as they were $25 and up. Next day at work, a mate had his leatherman out at lunch as did I and he pointed out that it has a diamond sharpening face on one side of the file. I have had my one for a few years and never knew. It is perfect for the fish hooks and filleting knife.

Cool ;-)

If you were looking at the Eze-Lap brand of diamond files at Bunnies, well they are well-worth the $25. I have been using the Eze-Lap diamond sharpening products for years and they are some of the best diamond sharpening tools available. It's all in the way they bond their diamonds to the surfaces. Much better than most other brands. They will probably last forever ;)

If you are looking for a better range of diamond sharpeners check out the woodwork suppliers like carbatec, timbecon, gary pye, carroll's and so on.
most of them have brand name products and generics.
