Hey all,
just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to find boat ramps in the gladstone region.
Have tried Google without success, any pointers much appreciated

Cheers and tight lines

Main ones are

Yacht Club
Bray Park
Toolooa Bends
The one near the power station (not sure of name).

There are several others including some down bush tracks, but that'll get you where you need to go.

Jakatak,
There are a number of ramps available in the Gladstone area.
Choice of ramp will be dependant on the type of fishing or boating intended.

Offshore/Harbour/Narrows - Auckland creek ramp near the Yacht Club at the end of Goondoon street, Gladstone.

Offshore/Harbour/Boyne River/Narrows - Boyne Island ramp at Bray park. Low tide restrictions to offshore.

River - South Trees ramp on the Benaraby road on the way into Gladstone.

Quite a few more available in the local areas.

Good luck!

Jak

Just head for the water and there will be boat ramp somewhere close by

The one thing I have noticed every time I head to Gladdy is that there is certainly NO shoratge of boat ramps.

Now compare that to Rocky - we do not even have 1 (thats right not a single) decent ramp into the river (salt water reaches) in town.

Thanks heaps fellas,

I'm heading to awoonga for a few days tomorrow night so figured if the dam wasn't happening would hit the salt. Will be in a 5.3 polycraft so hopefully will hit the harbour if the wind doesn't blow us off the water :)

Much appreciated information.
