"Best thing a man can do. It's not the fish you catch, it's the peace of mind that you take home at the end of the day."

but the fish you catch just put that extra skip in your step on the way home;)

Its not weather you catch anything or not. It is just getting time to relax and enjoy the outting and the company of friends and family.

I don't go fishing to get peace of mind.
I go fishing to empty my mind. :)
My mind's in too many bits and peaces and too hickledy pickledied as it is. :P
Oops which peace is it?? Is it piece or peace ?? Dunno...I'm just confused now :-/

Yes agreed. It's a great passtime and just plain fun. The feed is a bonus. :D

What gives you more to talk about? The one you caught or the one that got away?

Tim.

For me there is nothing more relaxing and peaceful than fishing the salt water, especially the surf.

There is much to be said for merging with the ebb and flow of the tides to restore the inner balance - more so if nature provides something for the tooth.

Gee ..... I cant remember when I had a relaxing days fishing! ....... These days its spent trying to lure a species to take an artificial bait .. The trip home or camp ground discussion then usually involves some post mortem on what went wrong:book2: .. or right ....... Nagg

PS .... I do take something away with me when I fish places like these 15121 ,,15122,,15123,,15124,,15126,,15125,,15127,,15130

Yep you can remember fish for a long time but the place last for ever, in my mind anyway. I love the places with beauty and fishing is a winner when you can flick lures or troll along the edges of ranges of forest. just love it

The ocean has a way of drawing all the stress out of me, so i can leave it out there when I come home,

I love days at sea,

Oh, give me grace to catch a fish
So big that even I
When talking of it afterwards
May have no need to lie. 8-)
