Transducer on new Riptide Bowmounts

Hi all. Has anyone mounted a transducer on the new Riptide Bowmounts? The ST model? Can mount the tranny fine, just the cable fowls up on the fall away ramp most of the time. Not like the previous model where you can fed the cable through the locking handle. Got in contact with BLA and they had no answer, same as Minn Kota USA. Actually they were very blunt and seemed like they didn't give a rats.
