Whats it worth

My old boat down the back needs to go to a new home. I just trying to work out the value of it. Its a 15.6 foot Easyrider fibreglass runabout, on a decent trailer. It has a 85hp Merc. It has not been used for over 12 months, and when I dropped the battery in it and start to crank there is fuel leaking from one of the hoses under the cowling. It does not kick up. The floor is a bit soft, but the transon/remainder are all in good condition. It would be an excellent project boat. Boat and trailer are still in rego. What type of money do you think it would be worth? allowing I'm in Bundaberg and not Brisbane.

Gday old kev that boat down here (brisbane) would get $1750.00,up there maybe 12 to 15 hundred.

Thanks for the feedback;

The boat is 1980
-It has the back to back seats
-It has an bimini from the windscreen to about half way down the boat; The stiching on it needs to be redone (maybe new material)
- It had new steering about 6 months prior to it stopping being used
- Flares
- Some Old life jackets
- 2 fuel cans
- Anchors / ropes
- Compass
- CB Antenna (no CB)

Engine Merc 85hp 1977
- Power trim / tilt
- This was in good condition, a tight engine. Fully serviced about 6 months prior to stoppping being used. Can't start it because as soon as I crank it fuel is leaking from hose under the cowling as soon as it starts cranking.
- Battery is old, would recommend replaceing prior to going out on it.


Trailer I assume is also 1980 (in good condition)
- Good lights
- Good winch
- Reasonable 15 inch tyres (with 2 spares)

I'll try and get some pics today.


I may have a look at trying to fix the fuel leak; not sure if I'll get time thou.
