Anybody using a Jarvis Wake Snake electic motor?

Have just bought my first boat and trying to get it ready for some fishin but i'm pretty new to it all and have relied for years on the wealthy to satisfy my fishing needs up till now. I was all set to buy a minn kota, but a mate mentioned how much cheaper the Jarvis motors were but couldn,t tell me much more about them.
Has anyone bought one or know anything bout em?

I was on a boat that had one, It seemed to go ok but was rather noisy turning ie. the motor that turned the motor around was loud. apart from that it seemed OK.

Do research on your Deep cycle Batteries too as there is a vast price difference. Sean
