Anyone fished or seen Coolmunda lately ?
How's the level/water ?

Hi
was at Coolmunda on the weekend at about 25% mostly shallow be careful.
the fish are not schooling in riverbed but are moving around in about 8 to 10 feet of water. small purple lures or spinnerbaits worked well.

Ellicat,
Level is at 24%.
I havent heard any reports of late. My last trip there was Easter & they were letting water out. Best fishing at the time was way downstream in the MacIntyre Brook.

Well thanks for the info guys. I was a bit late asking - left home 3/10/7. Spoke to Texas local who said wasn't worth the effort. Had a quick session on the Dumaresq instead. Picked up (and released) one little Murray which kept me satisfied.

It says the dame went from 25% to 75% in 3 months.

I suspect Coolmunda is close to full now so best fishing would be across the newly covered flats. Normally we used to troll the old creek bed and zig zag from bank to bank - pick up a yellas. Use a lure depending on depth of banks of creek. Be great fishing there now for the next 12 months with the recent fill.

I went past it a couple of weeks ago and it was as full as I've ever seen it.
Currently sitting at 81%.
It's getting close to the road on the eastern side:D Still a few hundred metres;)

Went through back green up road on way home monday and dam looks to be 100%. Fullest i have ever seen it. Water would have been 50mtrs from road.
