double blood V's double uni knot

Just looking at some knots and wondering what the relative advantages of one knot over the other.

it occurs to me the uni knot is more fiddly to tie.

in one better in braid or braid to mono.

surely the double blood would travel thru a guide better.

the double Uni is very strong and it's main advantage is that it is OK for very different diameter lines, but by far the best thing for you is to tie a few of each and test them yourself, then you know what suits you and your gear.

Centauri is good for both heavy and light lines. It takes a bit of practice to hold the loops together at first though. It also has trouble bedding down with new GSP lines like Fireline when they are still stiff
