Silstar crystal blue 15kg+ rods

I am looking to purchase one of these but the silstar website is pretty crook and the shops I rang couldn't answer, hoping someone here can help.

I am looking for the rated weights of these:

CB-601JSM 6' 1 Jig Spin CB-601JSH 6' 1 Heavy
Jig Spin CB-601JOM 6' 1 Medium
Jig Overhead CB-601JOH 6' 1 Heavy
Jig Overhead


Think I have nailed the 2 heavy action rods at 15/24kg but the other two?? I suspect but dont know as there is no weight written on the rod and the silstar site has no contact details - lucky I am determined, there are other rods out there that will suit me also.

any help appreciated.

The heavy action rods are 15-24kg and the medium action rods are 10-15kg. Thats what it says on ######## anyway

Thanks Francis for the reply, I have trouble believing they are that light?? I have a 10-15 crystal tip boat rod and in comparison it aint no medium jig rod IMO but I am no expert.

I use the heavy in spin and just keep putting more on it waiting for it to break but it just hasnt yet!!!! I will keep trying

Thanks Krazy I bought one the same as yours last night, good to hear it's tough, the 10-15 crystal boat rod had no hope a couple of weeks back, if it didn't break then it's never going to break, not unhappy to give any fish that will treat this new rod the same, a miss:)
