Hi all,

What's the concensus on the best product for cleaning foggy clears? I've tried a few things but just can't seem to get a good finish.

Thanks in advance,

Woody.

I have not tried it but I hear Plexus is quite good. Although if the clears are already scratched there may be no solution...

Mr Sheen or WD40 worked into the surface may also asist.

In my experience mate, "foggy" could mean they've been rolled up wet and allowed to dry. You may have a hard time gettin them clear. But as BM said, Plexus is great i use it all the time on my clears. Furniture polish in a spray can works fine too.

I vote for Plexus and also found Mr Sheen to be good

Preventative maintenance and not leaving them rolled up wet or in the sun; if you can avoid it with a cover etc t be well worth while.

G'day

PLEXUS... there we go, the best stuff to use. It's a cleaner and polish in one, originally designed for the aircraft industry.

You can get it form some of the better chandleries, and also bias stock it. Bias and Nu Marine at cleveland are the best on prices. The big can should be around $20.

If the clears are badly damaged, give them the once over with meguiars plastix.

Failing that, they're due for replacement.

Should we be using this on our canopies as well to keep soft and supple and longer life?
