Evinrude mechanic recommended?

Hi all, I have a 1997 Evinrude 2 Stroke 40hp. The engine is running fine but wish to have the white glove taken over it as I have only owned it for a few months and want a major service for piece of mind. Also the hydraulic trim and tilt is having some minor issues. If someone can reccomend a good mechanic on the Sunshine Coast that is good with hydraulics I would be greatfull.

Also what should i look to pay for a major service on this engine (not considering the trim and tilit problem)

Hi, Their is a Johnson/Evinrude specialist at Bowen Hills, Downes Marine he is reccomended on here alot and he services our outboards. He is a top bloke and will look after you price wise. I know its not sunny coast but i can reccomend him.

He one of the best outboard mechanics i have come across, Great advice and very honest cant recommend him highly enough, unfortunately not that close to the sunny coast however.

Thanks for the info guys bringing the boat down to bowen Hills might just be a good enough reason to take the boat out in the bay ;)
