OOOHHHH ! That hurts.....

Nope, wasn't me. Exactly..... that guy kept going.

I have only driven landies on very few ocassions and one in particular the owner said " you can't bog these ". Well on the return trip from the Fraser Classic Fishing Comp, I Bogged the landie....... without trying I might add.

I don;t think those things have any electrics anyway.... that's the only problem with modern 4BY's.

I do like his " reverse and have another crack " attitude though.

Have you made a decision on the next 4 x 4 Brett ???

I only bogged it cause no one else was capable of driving it.... too many stubbies of personality... ::) :o

I always said, if you could put the landy running gear under a japanese chassis and cab, you'd have a nice vehicle.

Might see you soon Mr Bugg ;)

That's why I couldn't remember it::)

We got offered a 2005 Prado Grande with everything for just $40k on the weekend. It's my cousin's car and he wants a new one. It's been driven by his wife for 35000km of road work around town and that's it.

The dealer price is $55k plus for the same thing.

The only thing that has stopped me jumping on it is it's a petrol.

I'm trying for some feedback on another thread but haven't got that much yet.

PS. I tried your trick last week - only the water went up over the bonnet with the mud wave going over the roof. The landy stopped going forward so I smashed her in reverse and planted the foot and she crawled her way out.

I had Leanne and the little fella in the car - they weren't happy:-X

What, they weren't happy you made it out ????

Imagine how they 'd have been in the Nissan when she went " Jules Verne".

mmm Petrol....... there is a debate going on inside my head about the petrol Vs Diesel issue. One day I will write it down and sort it out.

If the Prado is that cheap, maybe buy it, offload it at a profit and get something you really want. A Dodge Ram ;D ;D :P

That's already been going through my head.

They're staying with us this weekend so I'll have another look over the thing this week.

It certainly looks the part.
