Hi All

After reading the thread about additives and rather than change the subject on that thread can anyone comment on the pros and cons of muffs on a running motor versas flushing with the the motor off using the plug in method?

I seem to remember someone telling me that if you flush with motor not running you do not get water thru the thermostsat etc. Is this correct or yet one more murban myth?::)

How do you flush (your motor)?

1 with muffs
2 with a plug in fitting
3 in a drum
4 other way (details please) in a post
5 every time its used
6 never and finally
7 on average, how long do you keep your motors?

Thanks in anticipation

Cheers
Chimo

PS Happy Show Day (on the GC anyway)

PS Oops I stuffed up re doing this as a poll but what the hey, you get the idea;) .

I do mine in a drum this way I don’t disturb the neighbours with noise and I can run it as long as I want without feeling I am wasting water.
