Burdekin at Gorge weir

Ok freshwater guru's, heading out to the weir at Dalbeg shortly and just after some advice on fishing the fresh out there.

Lure colours etc and baits.

I'll be taking a light outfit for spangled and sooties aswell as a heavier outfit for Barra.

was up that way a couple of weeks ago if you are talking about the weir up the dirt track dont bother unless you got atank got over first gully bu the next one nearly got stuck no good with a long wheelbase 4wd talked to a couple of dirt bike riders and they said no way it got a lot worse so we took heed and went to the coast.

I've been all the way out. Just need good tyres and clearance. I drive a LWB GQ and had no drama's getting out there. I have just never thrown a line out down there.
