After a fishing trip last nite. wash the boat and notice a small slick of oil coming out of the propella.

Is this normal for a new motor, running double the oil . The motor was tilted up. Motor has done 2 hours,

If the oil is a dark colour it will be excess 2 st oil and nothing to worry about esp seing you are running double oil.

if it is creamy colour it signals hydrolized gear oil and you should take it back for a claim on a faulty gearbox or its seals.

Tunaticer is absolutely right, :)

We've just finished running in a yammy 2 stroke on double oil. Chas freaked out :o after the second run when he saw black oil on the floor under the skeg...just a few drips.

Soooo relieved when informed that it is absolutely to be expected, would help the stress levels if the dealer had warned us in advance (he said that himself and apologised...nice bloke actually hey Keith??)
