Saw this interesting looking mini barge "thing" on ebay.

Blurb says flat bottomed, draws 6" of water and can plane at 30 Knots.

I don't think I'd like to be in it at 30 knots.

What a ripper :D
it would be perfect for conditions like those shown in the picture and still be able to bung it on a trailer.
Easy design to build ...mmmmm.... a few sheets of 3 and 4mm alloy, a saw, the welder, the nieces cubby house and away we go :D
Any other details Sea-Dog??

Hey somebody loves her!

Have to agree, it can go 30kts without me, although I reckon that I'd worry more about a few inches of chop, than the speed. You're liable to lose your fillings with that flat bottom.

30 Knots, not likely with that motor.

But all the same I would be happy with her at 18 knots.

30 knots with that flat bottom..... imagine how that would handle a tight turn!!!

Maybe you could strap a few 44 gallon drums down each side and call it a cat!
Watch out Noosa cat...... could be some stiff competition soon.

looks a bit like one of those police barges they use for getting motorcycles & bicycles out onto islands..with a chicken house put on it..
