Hi Everyone

I currently have a Stessco 4.2 catcher which i dearly think is great.

However I love my soft plastic fishing/lure fishing in either fresh or salt water. So current layout is open floor walkaround which is great for that type of fishing.

However started to do a bit of overnite stuff for whiting etc and open tinnie is just not the go for overniters.
Have a Bimini and full storm covers but it is real pain in bum when tailor spinning or chasing an early morning flathead.

Was thinking about a change to a bowrider type boat and maybe a removable canopy cover to convert to cuddy cabin.

Has anybody done similar or have a solution?
Have already suggested to finance manager about 2 boats - 1 for each but received a fairly stern negative on that one.

Any thoguhts much appreciated

Cheers

Brother in Law has a nice 5.7mt bowrider, a stacer.

Beautiful boat. Family cruising, fishing, a nice big deck up front for casting. It really is a good all round boat if there is such a thing. It has full storm covers, and he styas over night soemtimes when fishing.

As an all rounder, and I use that term loosely as you will never get the complte all round boat, a good bow rider is probably the go.
