Technically not fishing....

Well there's nothing technical about it. We filmed this on a trout fishing trip to my cousin's farm in the Meander Valley Tasmania.

Good family fun.

The river was flooded after all the rain we had Mike.

Took two days to go down and then we nailed some nice fish on celtas and worms right in front of the house.

It was a tough couple of days it really was.

Did you notice that as she takes her second target, there is a car passing in front of the gun.

Good fun

We we also there to help plant 1100 hazzlenut trees. They arrived that week but so did about 8 inches of rain. The holes were dug but filled with water so we made a nursery for the trees and will have to return for another planting.

Meander is a funny place. There's rifle, shotgun shots going off all the time. At night you can here the big booms of the deer shooters come down from the hills into the valley.

A couple of shot pellets in the back window isn't going to worry the locals.

Seriously it was about 350m+ to the road.
