I Came up the Motorway to Burpengary this morning (as usual) , all the creeks have a flow going, and standing water everywhere in the paddocks . The radio was reporting the Stanley River that flows into Wivenhoe at 5 metres, its usually just a little creek.
SEND HER DOWN HUEY.!!!

It seems to be heading into the catchment area at the moment crossing the coast between Gympie and Noosa and heading inland. :) :) :) :) :)

Now we only need the Low to cross the coast about there. 8-)

Well its been flogging down here in Caloundra for nearly a week rain ,rain and more rain. There getting some massive totals around the Sunny Coast. Rainbow Beach has broken the record for the most rainfall in a 24hr period they say, being nearly 800mm. Hopefully a fair bit will get into the Brissy catchment and take the pressure off a bit.
I haven't seen it rain like this for a while, almost reminds me of the Brissy floods when I was a tacker, had to row the dog across the street in the tinny so it could take a piss.
