I was looking at a yalta 555 the other day which a mate of mine has just got and I was looking at the plate which stated max hp 150 and max weight 180kg and anyone else confirm this? and what motor would this allow. as this boat was sold with a 150hp yammie 4/s well over the 180kg.
thanks

I noticed they say 150HP 2 stroke max, so I guess the 4T max would be under that

What did the boat sell for?

On the Yamaha site:
150HP 4 stroke 216kg
150 HPDI 220kg
:o mispring maybe?
The yamaha 115/130 2T seems to be a common engine for the 555. 167kg's

Happy with your 555? What motor did you get on yours?

I ordered mine at the Boatshow last year. I got the 115 Yammy 4S and I can’t fault it. Gawby (Graeme) has the same setup.

I like the boat. They ride very well and are great value for money. I’ve got nearly 70 hrs on the clock now and I have personalised the boat a bit here and there.

This tread has some photos of the mods I have made:
