Waves up to 11.8m in tassie-that doesn't surprise me.http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/rolleyes.gif
Blaze ,what does surprise me though is why people bother owning boats there or why people actually want to live there.http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/grin.gif

To have to live through those freezing winters and the winds that come with the territory it's got me mystified-Why do you really live there? What makes it a special enough place to put up with such hardship and miserable weather?http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/undecided.gif

What Blaze didn't tell you is that he is a contractor to the BOM.

He takes his trusty steed out every hour, with his tape and spirit level and actually measures the wave heights. :smug:

True Story

Cheers

Spend time in this god forsaken land and thee will be rewarded with a trip to gods own country(queensland).http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/grin.gif

Heaven forbid that I dare ask what sins brought upon this vengeful act of god.http://www.ausfish.com.au/vforum/../yabbfiles/Templates/Forum/default/tongue.gif

More likely they are convicts guilty of being crazy enough to live there.

Blaze, get a surf ski mate and start paddling, would be great exercise.
Where abouts in Tassie are you? I have a friend who lives on Brunny Island. We plan to visit he and his lively wife some day.
