hi fello fisher people, was asking if any1 knows a site that you can type in gps marks & it will show you were they are? if theres not i'l have to get google earth. thanks. happy fishing bill...........

Google earth is nice and easy plus you can save the marks you put on in "my places" and build up a map of marks to refer to.

simple - you just type the co-ords into the 'fly to' box and voila! :)

Another way is to go to the weather bureau radar sites and select the 128km loop. As you move the pointer around the map the latitude and longitude are show as the 'Map coordinates'. It's not much good for detail as the scale is way too large but it will show the general location of any set of GPS coordinates. You can do this for any of the bureau radars in Australia and it's quicker than Google Earth. The coordinates are only shown on the loops, not the latest view.
