I know a few guys have been chasing me for a while with no success. I have been offline for a few months due to some personal issues. Anyway, I’m back online for those who care and for those who don’t.:P

Stuart

Ian or sid-fishes helped me out by folding the fuel tank, centre console, front seating, and a few other odds and ends. It cost me two cartons of cat piss, I think Ian calls it Tooheys new. Its around ¾ done with only the hull needing a bit of a buff, Then I will be applying Nyalic then roll it back over to weld every thing else in place. Need some one to Tig weld the tank up for me, anyone keen to do some Tig welding for a carton of grog? I will post some pics in the next week or so.

stu , i added the pics to your post of your boat, as for the welder why do you need a tig, is it just for inlets /outlets ?

Stuart
05-08-2007, 09:22 PM
Yep, plus I recon TIG would be a better weld than Mig. PM me you number mate.

Stu

wrong, mate do it with the mig, put your bracing in first[tack it] then the ends[ tack them]then try the top to make sure it fits , square and true, cut the top like i told you, weld your bracing[ centre divider] and the inside of your ends fully. then place your top on and tack into place. then fully weld it. once its done then do your fittings[ inlets ,outlets etc]. then of course test it cheers ian. oh and by the way i,m sitting here drinking that so called cats piss sid
