The public ramp at Horizon Shores will be closed from 1st August. I noticed the sign there yesterday but there was no indication if it will be opening again.

....its about time that they locked out the plebs who have to TOW their boats around....oh my...how CAN you you possibly keep the champas from getting bruised in such conditions...I simply couldnt abide being seen PULLING a boat...

I bet they dont open it again. My bet is that they dont want recreational trailer boat fisherman at their premises, but we will see.

Was that ramp a user pays system or free for all??
If it was free then I don't blame them one ioda.
If it was user pays then that's a shame.

not sure if it is opening again..it is being closed for the next phase of the construction...there won't be any trailer boat storage when the new complex is completed..all rack storage but that is a smart commercial decision. Now where am I going to launch the tinny?
