The only thing I can think of to help is that the name on our windscreen
is Aj plastics.

Not its not me, may be ask guys like Allison or boat builders that
do have perpex screens

if you have a template of the screen, then check out some of the bigger sign mobs in your area, or a plastics supplier. just a thought. and look at replacing it with lexan, much better stuff, a bit dearer but cheers sid

Neil,

You can do it yourself with a decent heat gun. But it is tricky.

I don't know the windscreen guys in your area (QLD I presume?) but if you ring a local boatbuilder or dealer they should point you in the direction of a windscreen fabricator.

Stick with acrylic (perspex or any other trade name for the same thing) its much better than Lexan (or polycarbonate by whatever trade name).

Cheers

Lexan would be stronger than perspex but i think it would scratch easyer

lexan (polycarbonate)- strong, bends through tighter turns than acrylic sheet, scratches easily (even when coated), not UV stable (even with stabliiser coating)

perspex (acrylic) - not as impact resistant as polycarbonate, requires heat to bend through tight curves, more scratch resistant, more UV stable

Acrylic is the preferred material of boatbuilders.
