Hi I am in Sydney and in the market for a 2nd hand Trailcraft 540 sports Cab pref with 115 4r stroke, wondered if anyone is selling one?

December last year, I saw a 2nd hand 540 Trailcraft sportscab with a Honda 1154st for $41k. Thinking back now I should have bought it.

There was one in the Hornsby Advocate (Cumberland Newspaper Group) up until 1-2 weeks ago. I just checked this weeks edition and its gone . Ive thrown away last weeks editions. It might have sold. I think it was $30-35K, dont remember exactly how much sorry. Pretty sure it had a 100hp 4 stroke Yammy.

They have a web site that you can look at classifieds on. Not sure if its still on line. I used it a about a year ago and it wasnt very user friendly to search at the time

Thanks for the help guys, Looking for something around the $30k mark, there was a nice 2002 530 sportscab that I missed out on at JD Marine that sold for $27500 and only had 28 hours use.

Just checked out the Hornsby Advocate and looks like its gone.

Anyone know if these boats are as good on the water as they look?

I have a 2002 5.6 sportscab and absolutely love it ,its just been repowered with a 115hp ETEC and goes like the clappers and eats up the slop.

Bad luck on missing the 530. I spotted that one on-line over a week ago and agree it was great value. Fitted with full covers and other accessories apart from no bait board or plumbed live bait tank. From what I'm hearing from owners the trailcraft are a great boat.
