After a few weeks of wind and not much fishing I started to get a few ideas about how to fill in my time http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/thinkerg.gif apart from looking after the boys and all the domestic stuff arrr http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/BS.gif
So out comes the note pad and a pen ........ a few minutes later I have come up with an idea for the "mother of all filleting tables"
I had the frame here from past projects so a solid base was easy...
I went to a every mans favorite store (bunnings) and got some form ply, fittings and a tap.
The boss at work had a new dubble sink that he gladly donated after a fishing trip http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/biggthumpup.gif
I had a light and some S/S sheet and s/s pipe for the pole here http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/naughty.gif
and of to work I went.....Robbie at allycraft in Darwin folded up the S/S sheet for me http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/biggthumpup.gif http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/biggthumpup.gif and I did the rest incuding the light.
I am very happy with the finished product.... I now own a s/s topped filleting table with running water, double sink, water proof bug off light and a slops bin.
Here are some pictures of it.... never again will I have a sore back from filleting on a bech that is too low.http://www.fishingterritory.com/images/smiles/biggthumpup.gif
Now I just need this wind to go away and there will be some scales in the yard instead of kites8-)
