Gidday all,
Yet another question. :-/
Where do I find a supply of the old chrome/polished stainless guides with the red shock ring and white inner..I think they're Fugi but who knows.
I'm restoring an old Lenny Butterworth and these were on it but like most things made in 1974 they're pretty well castus.
Any clues would be appreciated
Ta Scott :)

Sandy's a trooper isn't she.
She goes and gets a job and leaves little presents just for Owen.
That $50 looks like a mustard coloured fun voucher for the pub to me.

G'day Scott,
I'll have a look at work tomorrow for you as we have a rather large box full of them so I'll check sizes and remove the layers of dust as well :) .
Cheers, Jan.

Fishing Tackle Australia have them too, not online but in a tray on the shelf in their rodbuilding cupboard.

G'day Scott,
checked out whats in the shop. I've got any number of tips size 10 for different mm's, 2 x 12's, a thousand #6 and few other bits and pieces. I'll check the rod building section out the back tomorrow to see what could be lying around. I think there are a few broken older rods out the back that I could strip the guides off for you if that helps.
Cheers, Jan.

Thanks Jan...Don't go to any trouble as I'm sure I'll find a set somwhere sooner or later but I'll get what you have though.
I'm really like doing up the old rods probably even more then trying to build a new one.
They have history the old ones. This one was given to a school teacher at Rocklea State School in 74 as a retirement present. His grandkids were flogging it off at the markets :(
I'll use the bugger though as it's a nice 9' wall rod :)
