I am selling this motor to upgrade to a bigger engine,
It was first installed July '92 and i am the second owner from new.
It is in great condition both externally and internally. Last serviced by Dallas at Leisure Marine in Feb "07, and he commented on how clean it was.
Compression 130/126/125/128.
Original paint on leg and engine. Trim n' tilt buttons on side of motor as well.
20 inch leg. Comes with everything, controls and guages - tacho and trim/tilt, oil resovoir etc. Also has an SE Sport foil fitted. S/S prop.
VRO2 oil injection system suitable for ethanol fuels.
I have owned it for 12 months having purchased it off the original owner who was getting too old to use the boat anymore. Done little work - was used for short trips off Cleveland and Wello. Original sounder (with paddle wheel on the transducer) was replaced when i bought the boat, and it only had 690 miles on the log. Motor has done about 60 hours since.
It has been ultra reliable and been offshore many times in the last 12 months.
Starts first go every time.
I also have all the original owners manuals that came with the engine.
It is still on the boat so a water test can be arranged, but will be coming off VERY soon.
