Havent been out in 2 weeks now, had the need to get on the waterin the baot ...damm weather.....so this arvo i went down to deepwater bend and chucked some sps around....didnt get anything....but standing there thinking it came to me that..its been 24 years since i fished off the bank.......god where does time go.......( would have caught fish there 24 years ago too.....):-/

I've been a boatie since I was 8 yrs old but I still love fishing from the bank, especially when stalking fish like flathead. I reckon there's nothing like steering a jack or a big bream around structure from the bank, running up and down while fighting them, that is the biggest rush for me. I'll pull the boat up on a likely looking bank and chuck a few I think that we are getting soft fishing from our boats all the time and are losing the art of bank fishing which can be the most exhilerating and pure form of fishing.... So come on fella's get primitive and I know you will glow afterwards.......
Plus you can have a drink while fishing and stay safe... Bonus
