fuel tank on new motor

G'Day all,

I am just ordering a brand new 15hp Merc, and I'm of the opinion that it should come with a quicksilver tank, as thats the mercury brand.

The dealer is spinning me some BS that quicksilver are more exy tank and only for bigger motors and is trying to give me a cheapie tank.

When he orders my merc, wont it come to him with a quicksilver tank?

I think he is trying to rip me off.

Tell your dealer you've changed your mind, then take your business elsewhere. He might change his story

I recently bought a 15hp merc (my avatar) and it came with a quicksiler tank and hose. so it should, so i would agree with the others, your being ripped!
