somerset redclaw and fishing

Heading upto somerset dam staying at the Kirkleagh camping grounds, just wanting some recent local knowledge on how to go about catch redclaw, as in go shallow or go deep, or around stumps or out in the open ? and while we are at it what fish are on the bite (if any) and which end is working the best. We are there for about 6 days and have tinny with outboard so extra travel no problem.
