3-4hp outboard

Hi, I am chasing a good condition recent model or near new 3 to 4 hp outboard for my canoe.

I am especially keen on the tohatsu 2 strokes or the new yamaha's due to their light weight.

Year: 06/2000 Weight: 14kg

Power: 2.5 kW

He bought it 2nd hand off Sundowne 2yrs ago for $550.00

He is asking $250.00

He used it over winter when he first got it and then bought a bigger boat.
He was telling me he has just got it back from his old mate that he lent it to, who used it on his canoe and said it made his canoe fly .

Cheers Wiz...... I am just deciding if I go new or 2nd hand mate. I will let you know one way or another in the next couple of days if okay. Sounds like a nice light unit with descent power might be just what I am looking for.
