Reasonable quality surf rod

Heading up to fraser in 4 weeks and would like to replace my 13 ft $ 30 special with a better quality rod. Prefer 2 piece but not essential. To match up a 650 alvey. The boss has decreed that i have enough rods(mostly boat rods) and will not aprove the $ for a new snyderglass etc.

Can anyone help me out with a used rod?

mate i have got 6 surf rods i dont use you can have the lot for $100.00 if you want. i live at woodgate as far as i can remember one wilson and a lb power rod butterworth 12 ft..... one cane one and no names on the other ones . some of them need top runners . not the wilson or the butterworth. they are in good cond cheers
