I think it might be wise if you kept your opinions to yourself sometimes Barkers. Your advice on some topics throughout the forum at times leaves very much to be desired. Samo has asked a civil question and therefores deserves a civil answer.

Samo, you might be lucky to pick up a reasonable second hand motor for around 300, but generally the more you can afford the better the engine (hopefully).
Put your ad up in the 'Wanted' section and see how you go!

i got mine lil evinrude 6 for $100 and it needed a lil work and now it runs sweet as. Just look around and u will find something..
U need a trailer as wel so it might set u back a few $$$ for a trailer..

Hi samo,
mate if you are in Brisbane try the Tender Centre at Pickering Street Enoggera and Agent Auctions at Conaught Street Sandgate they both get small motors from time to time. I picked up a great little 6hp Suzuki for $200 and a 9.9 Johnson Seahorse for $150 both run great so they are out there if you hunt around.
