I have a 2005 model 140 Suzuki ..... how do I tell how many engine hours I have done .... is there a meter somewhere ?

Check your manual. From memory there is a flashing light on the tacho that indicates engine hours.

I know that but I thought there maybe a gauge under the bonnet.

No bro you gotta get it plugged into laptop by dealer tell's em weather you been naughty or nice (don,t look under the bonnet ya won,t recognise anything anyway!)Just tell's them and you if any alarm's and stuff went off temp, running time, max rev's achieved etc ,have a look next time ya get it serviced it's a pretty neat bit of gear.. Dan..........

hey mate the meter is in the rev guage when you first swich the ignition on if you have done say 100 hours it will show 1000 revs, 200 2000 revs and so on once you get to 1000 hours it will go back to 1000 revs and so on but you cant get a reel accurate reading. hope this helps
