Gday all, Just after an old style mincer to get rid of all the old bait and frames.

not fussy, as long as it not one of the '3 turns and its buggerred" cheapies.

Cheers,

Yeh more like grind your grubs deiter, to make fester....lol....
Just make sure when you get one that the throat as such is of a larger diameter
2/3 inches . Some of the old ones are only about 1/1.5 inches in diameter and that was when elbow grease was stored in old biscuit tins and they ate a lot of biscuits.

When you buy one make sure it has a big throat and fairly big holes for the burley to come out of. Other wise your burley will be very sloppy due to the amount of build up in the augar shaft.
I find that if you use things like frozern pike, yakka's pillies they come out in little bits which we find intices the fish better, instead of slop that just colours the water.

Dogsbody is right. Try a Lifeline store. They seem to always have them

Thanx everyone. The ebay ones are probably crap like everything else on there.

I had one years ago that i think i left in a boat under the anchoe when i sold it. Bugger. This one did produce slop though, so not ideal, but better than none. Used to fit one whiting head at a time in - very slow. I will check out the seconf hand joints around.
