Voltage Regulator Suzuki DT85 (93)

Hi all,

Quick question, where is the voltage regulator on a Suzuki DT85 (93 model)?

Problem is at high idle the voltage reading is 16V+ and as you know the Max should be around 14V. Its either a high resistance joint somewhere in the system, a deep cell in the battery or the regulator has packed it in. I have checked the connections and the battery so it leaves one more.

I was hoping its a separate unit and not in the main engine controller.

Inside the big black Box on the side of the motor, Tis just in front of the CDI about the size of a match box with four wires comming out of it
(rectifier regulator)

I new that was the rectifier but wasn't sure if it was the regulator as well.
