ewen maddock help

fished ewen yesterday arvy first time ever. fished all along dam wall(i'm on foot only) up round the tower and further passed at what appeared to be a wier! flicked crank baits gold black brown grey yellow, spinner baits and bibbed lures and not a touch didnt even see a sign of fish movement the whole time i was there. can anyone give me some insight as to what i'm doin wrong, or was i just in the wrong spot. I NEED TO CATCH A BASS:'(

Try around dawn & dusk and look for the deeper water.

Apart from that, PERSERVERENCE !!!!

Yeah i agree, dawn and dusk and keep trying.

You methods are sound. If your going to get one land based there you have the right technique.

catching bass off the bank at ewen maddock seems imposibul, every time i fish there land based i get nothing. the only time i do get them when i take the canoe in 4 a paddle. and the only lure that seems to work 4 me there is a tn60.

I fished there sunday arvo too. I only managed one bass at 43cm. He ate a TN60.

I got 7 on the wednesday before with the biggest going 52cm. They are great fighters and very fat this time of year.
