G'day all,

I seem to remember a while ago seeing a website that showed current sea temperatures on a map with a colour shading scale. Just wondering if anyone can point me to the website again, going nuts trying to find it!

Thanks
Beaross.

Thanks Jewsee,

that is really helpful. The image i remember though was more specific to SEQ and nth NSW and the colour gradients were much more significant (ie more descriptive of the water temps in my area). I've had a quick look through the csiro website and i don't think this is the one I remember..??
It a while ago and I might be mistaken though..

Here's a couple I use -

Australia map - just click on the area you want and the details appear up top http://www.cmar.csiro.au/remotesensing/web_point/

Qld map with general area temps indicated. If you want other states just click on "Graphs" at the top and select where then on the left select sea temps.

Another site is this one. It goes into much greater detail so you can see small pockets of hot and cold water in an area. However you have to purchase access to it.
