H all I used to be a fisherman, but in the absense of fish, all I do is cast, so thus I am a casterman.

I think you need to jump on board with a local. There are plenty of fish in your area, just need to know where to look.

True dave, but there are not many fisho's about up this way willing to point a fellow fisho in the right direction. It's funny I can go to any other place and catch fish, Nth NSW, SE Qld, Mackay, Airlie, even lived in NZ for a year and had no problem there, but 5 fishless years in Rocky is getting to me.

Do you have a boat? Do you take it offshore, around the islands and stuff? If so we might have to organise a tagalong and see if we can change the fishless situation.

No boat at the moment, I had a 5.3m Sportfish Centre Console with a 90hp Yammaha 2stroke, but sold that 9 months ago due to the a purchase of a house. But I feel I need to get back on the water soon. Might have to get a boat loan, lol.
