Cant help you with your builders plate , but nice boat. I hope you aren't going to cover up that strip planking with paint.

Brother in law just built his own boat. Will find out tomorrow how he got a builders plate if no one else helps you in the meantime.
No Trev its getting a clear finish over the outside at least, in case you are interested its built with Paulownia, which is a light weight timber native of china (lighter than Western red Cedar but not as light as balsa) two layers 285gsm glass inside and out, I hope the hull will come in under a 100kgs and I have a 4 stroke 30hp Yammy forward control to bolt on to it.

Should be a good thing when she's up and going. Will be a shame to spill fish blood all over it, but with epoxy, it should all wash straight off.
I've got 3 sets of plans here myself but I just havent built up the guts to build them yet.(not for anything as nice looking as that though)
Nice work Lewy.
Why not post some more pics as it progreses. Not your average fishing boat.
Sorry I don't even know what a buiders plate is.
Cheers

Sorry Lewy for not responding. Brother in law is away on holidays at the moment. Will be seeing him this weekend so I'll have answer for you by Monday.

Nice work Lewy, not too many people with the skills to do that these days.
Contact MSQ, they are the regulatory authority re: builders plates / capacity labels.
They also have the formulas on the website to calculate the capacity.

Great work lewy. You must have a lot of patience. If I was building that, it would have started looking like yours at the bow and it would look like a log cabin at the stern.
