Any reports on borumba- heading up midweek

Hi going to borumba 16,17,18th any info on fish catches and redclaw in the last week or so would be very helpful. Going solo if other ausfishers are up there around this time it would be great to chat.

Beware the ramp, it ends only a foot or so below the water. try launching off the gravel beside the ramp.

We fished it about a fortnight ago, for one 'Toga. Got it in the left arm (as you look up the dam) around the corner in the shade against the rock wall about 2 in the afternoon.

Hi Coola
Let me know how you go. I'm heading there for a couple days in a fortnight.
Troll the back end of the dam and you should get plenty of bass although the size is a bit of a problem. Good fun though. Watch for the tree stumps - dam is starting to get a bit low.
Might catch you there one time.

Report on trip to borumba
Dam seems to be fishing well, still letting water out.
15 Bass, 4 keepers over 400mm released all but one. ( lures,fly).
2 yellow bellies released. 350mm. (bait)
1 toga (big) released after 10 seconds, BUGGER and *#@%. next time!!!! (fly)
2 redclaw WOW!
Four or five others up there catching fish!

mid morning - mid afternoon lure TROLLING very slow (green-gold)
early-late, lure-fly (around any timber)- green-gold anything lure- purple with flash - fly. Toga on fly my own design
