New member asking directions

Hi fellow fisherpersons, have just moved up to brisbane from the Iluka area and plan to do some fishing over the mothers day week end down on the pin area. can anyone give me a heads up on the areas that are worthwhile to wet a line down around the pin region. Will be setting out from the ramp at Rudy Maas.

Mate no expert but I would try the corner of Short Island (bream), Kalinga banks(flatties), Tiger mullet Channel (black bream, Bream) and so on.
If that fails the pub at Jacobs Well has a pretty good counter lunch.
I'm sure you'll get some great tips from others on the site as to where to head.
