Hi guys -
I posted this last night, but must have stuffed up some how as it never listed??
Anyway, bought first tinnie last yr - 4.5m tinnie and trailer.
Now realise that trailer has rust issue - it must have been thickly painted in silver paint.
I'm not a tradie so any advice is greatly appreciated.
I'm thinking to use an angle grinder, but want to know if I should use a wire brush attachment, or a solid disc?
Can you advise, and even tell me if the grinder is the way to go.
Further, once I have removed the rust, how should I treat the metal? what treatments and then what paints to use so I give the trailer the best protection I can.
