go 4.5 make sure theres enough leg room when you rotate seats for trolling etc

My first boat was a 4.25 alley craft. Nothing wrong with the boat but there was just not enough room. It had a 40 merc 2/s on it which pushed it quite well.
I then went to a 5.25 stacer with a 90 merc 2/s and with the extra 1m and 50 horses it was just that much better.
Sit 2 or 3 of you in it and see what room you have left and make your decision then not forgetting about the esky and takle box etc.
Hope this helps you

I would be looking at the 4.5 and if money was a problem I would drop back to a 50hp I have been in the 4.5 with both a 50hp and 60 hp both went well

I have a 4.75 Bluefin Weekender pushed by a 60 hp 4st EFI Mariner. This is a fabulous setup and the motor is fantastic. It is very economical to run and extremely reliable. I love the EFI and how it starts before a full turn of the crankshaft. A 60 on your choice of boat would be fantastic

i got one and it's great stadle and dry at rest and on the run and plenty off room to fish out off, mines got a merc 60 2stoke and it goes well. good in the dams and river but haven't had it out side yet. the only problem would be the seats are to high and you can't spin the drivers seat around but that only minor
