Im using it. No complaints for the 4 months ive had it. Easy on the hands and it basically has no stretch.

Whats wrong with the strap mine has been on the trailer 11 years, still seems okay.

Never had spectra rope, but had plenty of cables, rusty, spikey, get tangled, and binds in to it self. Hate the cable.

Strap or webbing is good if you keep it dry or dry it after use. Wet and it makes a mess of the winch drum after a while I found. Dont know about spectra but I'd still dry yhr stuff of to protect the drum which will rust in time.

I am using Dyneema` pretty much the same as spectra.. This is one of those things where once you use it you would never go back.. dont waste ya money on straps or wire

Have had spectra rope on the winch for 3 years, would not go back to anything else.

If had spectra for 5 years, faded but still in top nick. had cable and straps, never ever go back.
